
WSEI University in Lublin, is a renowned non-state higher education institution established in 2000. Currently, it educates approximately 12,000 students and has gained national recognition for its commitment to education, training, and research. The university focuses on developing partnerships with EU organizations and institutions, which enriches its educational offerings and research capabilities. According to the annual ranking by "Perspectives", WSEI University ranks among the top 10 non-public universities in the region and holds the 19th position on the national list. The university regularly receives the "School of Leaders" certificate awarded by the Foundation for the Development of Higher Education, and in 2022 it won multiple awards, including "Leader’s University," "European Quality Certificate," and "Symbol of Innovative Education," reflecting its high educational standards and innovative approach.
Currently, the university offers twenty-eight first and second cycle courses and master's degrees conducted within three faculties: Faculty of Administration and Social Sciences, Faculty of Human Sciences, Faculty of Transport and Computer Science.
The university also offers postgraduate studies in finance, administration, computer science, pedagogy and psychology.
The university has implemented the ECTS points system to align with EU standards for international diploma recognition. Additionally, it is introducing a modular teaching system across nearly all fields of study, which increases flexibility and adaptability in education. The university boasts excellent teaching facilities, including 11 specialized laboratories and a Medical Simulation Center that support high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
In 2022, WSEI University expanded its operations by opening a new branch in Warsaw and introduced new MBA programs focused on Management and Nursing. The university also launched a Ph.D. School in IT, Economics, and Finance.
WSEI University continuously adapts its educational offerings to meet labor market demands while maintaining strong ties with local businesses and industries. The university actively participates in various projects aimed at supporting socio-economic development in the region. In summary, WSEI University stands out as an innovative institution dedicated to providing high-quality education that meets the evolving needs of students and the labor market while promoting international cooperation. Since 2017 the University reached around 2000 graduates of full English study BA and MA programs in the fields of IT, Management, Economics, and Nursing. Currently, there are around 3000 new international students enrolled in ENG study programs. The international group of students represent 24 different countries and cultures: Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Nigeria, Georgia, Guinea Bissau, Uzbekistan, Norway, Nepal, Belarus, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Belize as well as representatives from Poland.
The University cooperates closely with many education institutions across Europe within different kind of European Programmes, mobility schemes as well as research activities. The Project Team an extensive experience in preparing applications, implementing and coordinating projects, which have been selected for funding. The strategical goal of the university is to build bridges between business and academic sector, creating links between work and education through introducing new innovative methods and tools to academic curricula.
