
Turiba University is leading private University in Latvia specializing in Business and Tourism education. The institution has 4 faculties: Business Administration, Law, International Tourism ad IT Faculties. We also have department of Communication studies and Health care department.
The university offers 27 study programs, 13 of which are available in English. We have students from more than 45 countries worldwide.
At the moment Turiba has around 3500 students and more than 16 000 alumni. There are around 250 workers as administrative and academic staff in Turiba.
Turiba is intensively expanding its international cooperation. Turiba also offers a wide range of opportunities to obtain knowledge and experience abroad. Three types of cooperation have been implemented: ERASMUS programs, double degree programs and bilateral exchange programs. Turiba has experience in international project management, we have been involved and have coordinated such projects as Central Baltic Interreg, Erasmus Mundus, Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs program, JUSTICE, NORDPLUS and ERASMUS+ projects. Turiba is accredited private higher education institution, offering bachelor, master and doctoral level studies in English and Latvian languages. University is active in research projects. Sources of funding – own recourses, government support and different research and EU projects.
